Himes Associates, Ltd. has an immediate need for an experienced, on-site, Mission Critical Project Manager.  The position is located in Northern New Jersey and will report to our Fairfax, VA office. The position will be in support of the construction of a new data center for one Himes’ current clients and will include being a member of the project team for management of the design and construction teams as well as communication and coordination with cross-functional, internal project teams. A critical aspect of this position is to minimize the client’s risk. This is accomplished through thoughtful leadership and managing consistent processes, maintaining thorough records, minimizing disruptions to work processes, and monitoring for errors and omissions.

After years as a contract employee for Himes Associates, Ltd., we are excited to welcome Judy Martinez as a full-time Himes employee!  Ms. Martinez is a seasoned, professional project manager who brings to Himes a wealth of expertise in the design, construction and space planning industries.

Ms. Martinez has proven ability for evaluating renewals and new site selection, including defining space requirements, reviewing site alternatives and analyzing data. She is recognized for her successful experience with occupancy tracking, move management, space planning and client communication. Ms. Martinez specializes in managing critical dates and providing businesses with recommendations based on evaluation of downsizing and closure opportunities.

Chicago, Illinois., January 24, 2011 – Himes Associates, Ltd., an industry leading owner’s representation services provider, has hired Tom Stratford and Alan Belohlavek as Mission Critical Senior Project Managers.

Mr. Stratford is an IT/ Mission Critical Architect and consultant with over 25 years of experience in the critical and commercial construction industry with particular emphasis on data centers, call centers and operation centers. His strengths include managing, design and commissioning coordination supporting the implementation of highly specialized electrical, mechanical, fire protection, security and IT systems.

Mr. Belohlavek brings to Himes more than 30 years of experience as an Architect and Senior Project Manager. His focus and expertise have been in commercial, industrial, governmental, financial, and educational markets with specialization in Mission Critical operations including data and operations centers, disaster recovery facilities, call centers and corporate office facilities.
